Tim Ferriss is incredible. I am an absolute fanboy, along with millions of other people. It is a book with conceptual and practical advice on how to establish the life you always wanted. It changed my outlook and had a massive influence on my life. Read it.
We all face struggles in life, that is inevitable. Ryan Holiday has written a highly accessible and powerful book to help you reframe how you see these struggles. If you are going through some tough times, this in an absolute must. It will help immeasurably.
Far more than a book about war, the concepts contained within this book are applicable for all aspects of life. He is an incredibly gifted writer and an absolute master of historical story telling. I got so much out of this book and sent my Kindle highlight function into overdrive.
Published in 1959, the examples are a little dated but the concept is solid as ever. A surefire way to snap you out of your limiting beliefs and start accomplishing big things.
If persuasion was a religion, this would be it’s bible. This is extremely popular in marketing circles and with good reason, it’s excellent. Cialdini maps out the key principles of persuasion which influence so much of our behaviour.
I absolutely loved this book and recommend it to everyone. Ariely’s writing is accessible, amusing and packed with truth after truth demonstrating that despite what we think, we often make completely irrational decisions. An easy read that will open your eyes.
Blink – Malcolm Gladwell
A classic book from a well established author. If you are interested in human decision making, you will love it.
If you play music, this is an absolutely 100% must read. Bass player extraordinaire Victor Wooten teaches the principles of music in a way you have never experienced before. Combining spirituality, music and story telling, it’s mind-blowing stuff.
When I read this book, it hit me in a huge way. As I read it, I felt as if finally someone was able to articulate everything I intuitively believed but couldn’t express. If you have spiritual ideas and believe in something, but don’t know exactly what, this book is for you.
